Embodied Reflection Mini Groups

‘…you teach me wisdom in the inmost place.’ Psalm 52:6

An opportunity to practice embodied listening

Through the parable of the sower Jesus reminds us that God communicates with us like a farmer scattering seed. So often however, the seeds don’t get the chance to grow because they are not given time, space, or opportunity to register with us at depth.

God’s communication comes to us in many ways, for example through scripture, through our own feelings and desires, and through events in our lives. In this session I support participants in taking time to give focused attention onsomething of their choice with an emphasis on allowing the wisdom of our body to be expressed through posture, gesture and movement. The process can contribute to prayerful discernment and enrich our spiritual life.

The session begins with prayerful body awareness in stillness and movement and allows time for reflection and sharing.

The session lasts up to 1.5 hours and is available for mini groups of 2 - 3 people.

Contribution £25 - £40 per person (according to means)
